Appstream Troubleshooting
This article contains help on fixing common Appstream 2.0 end user issues.
To keep end user issues to a minimum, do the following:
- Keep the Appstream session open in your browser until it's fully loaded.
- Do not use Safari - some users have reported performance issues.
- Shut down other processes if needed - if you are in video conferencing, turning off your camera or making sure you are not sharing your screen can help provide a smoother performance.
First steps
Always try/suggest refreshing the page before carrying out any other troubleshooting steps. This can address many issues from the user side.
Application is in the wrong resolution
If you see a black border around the edges of the application:
- Press alt + enter/return on your keyboard
- The app will change to windowed mode - select the full screen button in the top-right corner
- Press alt + enter/return again to return to windowless full screen
Blank screen where app should be
- Click FN Keys on the toolbar then select ctrl + alt + delete
- Select Task Manager
- Quit the relevant Jenson8 application, then close the task manager window
Shortly after, the application should launch again
"No streaming resources available"

"Bad Request"
