MDM Setup Guide

1. Choose an MDM (Mobile Device Management) system 

We highly recommend setting up your VR headsets via an MDM. This allows you to centrally and remotely manage your devices: 

• Deploy applications. 

• Deploy Wi-Fi network logins. 

• Check headset configuration and headset charge. 

If you have or intend to buy Meta Quest headsets, you must be enrolled with their MDM Meta Horizon managed services before enrolling with third-party XR MDMs. You may find that MHMS does everything you need and not require a separate MDM.

If you are looking for an MDM to enroll Pico VR devices to, Jenson8 currently has release channels on ArborXR and ManageXR – you can research both to see which one best fits your organisation. Then proceed to create an organisation on your chosen MDM to start configuring your headsets. 

2. Gain Access to jenson8 applications 

 To install Jenson8 applications on your headsets, contact us directly via email at support@jenson8.com and tell us which MDM you are using. If you have chosen ArborXR we will also need to know your organization slug, which you can find here.
